Why Only These Brokers
I teach that protecting your capital comes first, so I hold myself to the same standard. Every broker on this page belongs to a group holding tier-1 licences, such as ASIC, FCA or CySEC, and has years of track record.
Most are also members of the Financial Commission, an independent dispute-resolution body. If a member broker refuses to honour its ruling on your complaint, its Compensation Fund covers up to €20,000.
Some go further. IC Markets & VT Markets, for example, insure eligible client funds up to US$1,000,000 against broker insolvency, through Lloyd’s of London.
No insurance or fund covers trading losses. These protect you against the broker, not the market.

Best for: Day Traders & Scalpers who value service

- Known for fastest execution and lowest slippage
- Gold spreads typically around 20–21 points

What to know: No swap-free accounts except Islamic accounts. Better for intraday than positional trading.

Best for: Swing and Positional traders
- One of the most popular brokers among retail traders
- Swap-free on gold and FX pairs for balances above $500, through my link

What to know: Gold spreads are on the higher side (around 24–25 points), and support can be slow.
