Most of the time, doing nothing is part of the process.
I don’t try to predict the market.
I try to understand what it’s doing.
Market Sentiment
Trading is not just about charts.
Price moves because of underlying fundamentals, and what we see on the chart is simply a reaction to that.
Understanding market sentiment gives context to everything else.
Before opening the chart, I want to know:
- What is the broader direction?
- Is the market risk-on or risk-off?
- Where is liquidity likely to flow?
The chart only makes sense when the context is clear.
Patience & Execution
I don’t trade often. I wait for situations that make sense to me.
Before entering a trade, I already know where I’m wrong.
If that is not clear, there is no trade.
Most of the time, doing nothing is the better decision.
In simple terms:
- Higher timeframe gives direction.
- Lower timeframe gives execution.
Technical approach:
- I mark key support and resistance zones from higher timeframes.
- I wait for price to react, not predict.
- I enter only when structure aligns with my bias.
Risk
Risk matters more than profit.
One bad trade should never affect the next one.
I don’t try to recover losses emotionally or quickly.
The goal is simple:
👉 Stay in the game long enough to improve
Loss is the only thing a trader can control.
Profit is a byproduct.
Focus
I mainly trade gold (XAUUSD).
Not because it’s special—but because focus builds clarity.
Watching one market consistently:
- Improves pattern recognition.
- Builds familiarity with behavior.
- Reduces unnecessary noise.
Over time, the chart starts to make more sense.
When I Do Nothing
Most opportunities are ignored. If price is:
- In the middle of a range.
- Moving without structure.
- Reacting randomly.
- I stay out.
Not trading is also a position.
Invalidity First
Before thinking about profit, I define:
👉 Where am I wrong?
If that level is hit:
- No hesitation.
- No adjustment.
- No hope.
- The trade is done.
I Don’t Chase Price
If I miss a move, I let it go.
There will always be another setup.
Chasing usually comes from emotion, not clarity.
Clarity Over Activity
More trades don’t mean more profit.
I prefer:
- Fewer trades.
- Clear structure.
- Defined risk.
One clean setup is enough.
Market Is Not Obligated
The market doesn’t owe me anything.
- It doesn’t have to respect my levels.
- It doesn’t have to move in my direction.
- My job is not to be right.
- My job is to respond correctly.
This Is Not Advice
This is simply how I see the market.
- No recommendations.
- No instructions.
- Take what makes sense.
- Ignore the rest.
I don’t trade every move. I wait for the one that makes sense.
I don’t trade every move. I wait for the one that makes sense.
I don’t trade every move. I wait for the one that makes sense.
I don’t trade every move. I wait for the one that makes sense.
I don’t trade every move. I wait for the one that makes sense.
I don’t trade every move. I wait for the one that makes sense.
